I am very pleased to be trying out a small bevy of samples from Mario Badescu!! The best part? Other than they're a pretty generous size? The magic word: Free!! I received them in the mail today and, as I am typing this, am already testing them out. I received these after filling out a little questionnaire sometime last month. Here's what I got:
-Botanical Facial Gel (cleanser)
-Special Cucumber Lotion (toner)
-Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream
-Oil-Free Moisturizer
-Drying Cream
-Strawberry Face Scrub
There were two more items recommended for me, but were not available for samples: the Drying Mask and the Drying Lotion. With the samples, also came a customized instruction guide on how to apply and when to apply the products. I thought that was really neat- always plus points when a product(s) is customized to your needs. I will test these out for as long as the samples will let me, and then report back with a mass review.
Don't fret, bloggerettes: you too can go to Mario Badescu's website, take the small survey and receive custom samples as well (small note: you may wait a week or two before you get the offer to recieve samples- hang tight! I just received my samples a few weeks ago. I will be doing a full review on each of the items! ;D I would like to know what you think about them too. We received different items. I love the customized brochure they included!
I'm waiting on my samples =) I really need new skincare so I'm hoping I love what they recommended to me!
I hope you love the drying cream! It`s definitely a staple for me - used like a colour corrector under concealer, it`s great for covering up super-red spots.
When you fill out the survey does it tell you that youre going to get samples or do they just surprise you? cuz i filled it out and it doesnt tell me anything about getting goodies :(
@Anon: It doesn't tell you right away that you'll receive samples. It was about another week or so after filling out the survey that I got an email asking for my address for samples.
