Review - The Face Shop Co-Q10 Mask Sheet.

A while ago, I spotted some awesome-looking Korean beauty goods at my local Walgreens. The wait is over! Time to dive into the best creepy face mask I've ever used (so far), The Face Shop Essential Mask Sheet:

This particular sheet is in the Co-Q10 formula. Here's what it's supposed to do, straight from the website:
Improves elasticity inhibits aging Formulated with coenzyme Q10 a vitamin-like substance that is involved in key biochemical reactions this mask sheet helps to keep skin supple and facial contours beautiful.

Hmm, could this really deliver? It was time to get down to the nitty gritty. When I opened the sheet, I realized that this thing looked waaaay too big. Was my face that small? It took a few minutes to finally fit the mask over my skin so that it somewhat covered everything evenly. It was kinda awkward. The end result?

Hmm...which pop culture reference to use?
"Hello, Clarice..."

Two Cons off the bat: One is the size of the mask. I know it's probably made to fit every size of face, but it definitely takes time and practice to get this thing just right. It was difficult at first to make sure that the mask wasn't touching my eyes, then stay on my chin, and keeping that little flap over my nostrils all at the same time. Two, it's really saturated in the solution. So, be aware that it will be a little drippy. Be careful not to get it in your eyes and make sure to wear an old shirt :)

After getting it at a somewhat comfortable fit, it was time to sit back for 15 minutes. To pass the time, terrorized my dog, painted my toenails (China Glaze's Ruby Pumps), fell victim to the newest Britney Spears song, and all the while felt somewhat glam doing it all even in this mummy wrap:

I kind of lost track of time and probably went well over the 15 minutes. It was starting to feel slightly tingly. Was it a sign it was on too long? I'm not too sure. Peeling it off was easy and the mask was still moist. After removing, the directions state to pat any remaining solution left on the skin.

End result? My skin was noticeably softer and felt smoother to the touch. Okay, it felt like butter. No, like buttah. Now, I don't know if this will get better the more I use the mask (the package says to use 2-3 times a week), but I do have to admit this silly-looking getup works and feels kinda nice.
