What were these packets?....
....they were Mask Sheets!!!
Mask Sheets are one of the weird and wonderful products from overseas, especially in the Korean/Japanese/Chinese market. Take a look at any of the popular sites that stocks these brands (Adam Beauty, Sasa, etc.), and you'll see these little packets in the skincare area. Now, as far as I know, products like these aren't really available in the US market (unless I'm just totally missing it).
I'm a total goof, I didn't take any photos of the display. But there were a good 12 or so different masks to choose from, all ranging from firming, lifting, brightening and revitalizing. Which magical packets would I come home with? I decided with Pearl and the CoQ10 masks. I only decided to leave with two, but it was so tempting to grab some more (These won't break your bank. They are $2.50 each or, 2 for $5).

It wasn't until I was in the car reviewing my purchases (please don't tell me I'm the only one that does this!) when I noticed on the back of the packet, that these were made in Korea! I got ridiculously giddy.
The Pearl mask sheet claims that it will help skin become clear and refined. Meanwhile the CoQ10 mask sheet claims it will help skin become more supple and smooth. It also says to use 2-3 times a week for best results. That's a $10-15 a week habit!
Upon further investigation, it seems like this Korean brand is coming to the US in small doses. Their US/English website lists only 4 stores in the states, and it looks like it will also be exclusively sold at Walgreens (I couldn't find as to what extent, though. The brand carries a wide variety of products, including fabulous-looking cosmetics, so we'll see how much we'll see in the drugstores. ETA: It's also being listed on the Walgreens website, looks like it's only face/skin products for now, if at all).
Needless to say I am EXTREMELY excited to try this out!!!!! Watch this space for a review and creepy mask sheet pictures :D

Lucky you! I still can't find The Face Shop products at my Walgreens. :/ Their face and body products are pretty good, and they sell really cute, girly makeup to boot!
Can't wait for your reviews!
(Oh oops! First-time commenter here. Just discovered your site a few days ago, and loving every post! Keep up the great work!)
Oh my goodness, this is crazy and good news.
I doubt my local store will have them since they never got Ecotool brushes. I will keep my eyes open!
Thank you Starry!!! I'm sure it will eventually make it's way to Walgreens nationwide, this literally must have been put up within the last week at my store.
KC, my store never got Ecotool brushes ;) There is hope!
