The bag in question is a newer addition to my family. I found it about a month ago at a local department store in the clearance bin. I encourage everyone to rummage through the clearance bins in the purse department- it's like the equivalent of adopting a pet. Sometimes the mutts are better than the pure-breads ;) Anyways, here it is:
Cute, eh? I walked out with it for under $20, and it was originally around $80.
Here's what it looks like when it would be "on" me:
Kinda slouchy. Feels sosososo soft. Goes with anything. A little out of the ordinary. It's just what I like.
I don't know much about the brand, Terra? I tried googling to see if there are any more bags to look at, but came up empty:
A peek inside the mess:
...and everything dumped out:
*takes deep breath* here's what you'll find:
A pack of peanut butter M&M's (that have been in my bag for a week- why I haven't scarfed them down yet, I don't know), a pack of 5 Gum, keys, checkbook (cover by Vera Bradley), daily planner, pirate clutch (contents pictured/listed below), Paul & Joe wristlet (contents pictured/listed below), some receipts, sunglasses, Miss A - Swiss Army Knife, tube of Melaleuca Renew lotion, work ID, coin purse, pen (that I think I "took" from work- oops!!), black headband (for those bad hair days), & the wallet (from Disneyland from 4 years ago. I can't even think about using another one).
Here's what's hiding in the innner zipper pouch of the bag:
"Out of Town" glasses (they're not prescription, just for fun. I usually wear these when I'm out of town), two Starbucks gift cards in the red pouch, tissue, Nivea lipbalm, mailbox key, PEPPER SPRAY (I work downtown and walk 3 blocks. Gotta be protected).
In the pirate clutch, AKA my medical clutch:
Pill box (tylenol, calcium pills), hand sanitizer, inhaler, mini-floss, Care Bear band-aids, Immodium AD (lol), and eye drops for those itchy days (as you can see I haven't had to use it yet, thank goodness).
My THRILLING makeup bag....:
Isn't this sad? A beauty blogger and this is all I carry with me? I know, quite boring. This is really all that I need to keep me looking fresh all day. A comb, a little pencil nubbin of Clinique Creamshaper Eye Liner in Egyptian, a mini trail size tube of Blistex medicated stuff (my lips are horribly chapped this winter- this comes in handy when it gets really bad), my can't-leave-home-without-it lip balm: Crazy Rumors PERK!!! (currently using Hazelnut), Styli-Style Line & Seal 24 Eye Liner in Brown Black, Becca Glossy Lip Tint in Bellini (this is what I had in there that day- it's usually whatever my lips are for the day), hair clip, a funny wet-nap from Hooters (makes me smile when I'm feeling crappy at work), teeth picks, Revlon Colorstay pressed powder, and what used to be a cute Disney Princess flip brush from Disneyland (the other half broke last week) and a flash drive.
Whew. Sounds like a heckova lot of stuff when it's all typed out like that. Believe it or not- my previous bag was MUCH bigger and I used to carry around a LOT more.
So, Blogger-ettes, begs the question: are you willing to dish out what's in your bag? Leave me a comment, put it in a list, or make a post on your blog and share!

Tanya, I love that bag. It is so pretty. Thanks for sharing your contents. I have to tell you that I got the styli-style eye line and seal pencil because of you, and I absolutely love it.
Oh, and I used to wear "just for fun" glasses all the time. Now I have to wear real ones, which I love.
What do you think of the nivea lip balms? They arrived in my area stores, but I have not tried them.
Ooooh PB M&Ms!! My favorite!!
My bag has so much crap in it!! I have my wallet, a Coach mini skinny, wristlet (I keep chapsticks and balms in mini, then glosses in the wristlet), sunglasses, gum, BC pills, thumb drive, my planner, a flashlight, coin purse, my camera, germ x, keys, headphones, and my 2 ipods. Whew. It doesn't sound like alot but it definitely takes up a crapload of space!!
I must confess you've inspired me by this article. If at first you don't succeed try, try again
